Toy Safety & Care

Toy Materials
While many toys on the market today consist of toxic or porous materials such as PVC, TPE, Jelly, etc., Vulpini Design uses only 100% platinum cure silicone. Often used for medical grade purposes, platinum cure silicone is a nonporous material that doesn't give bacteria a place to hide while washing, allowing it be easily cleaned and sterilized. In addition, platinum cure silicone does not leech any toxic chemicals, and can withstand a wide range of temperatures, allowing for easy cleaning via boiling, and/or the introduction of temperature play.
Choosing the Right Toy For You
It's important to know what you can handle when purchasing and using a toy. All of our products include extensive measurements and comparisons to help you choose a toy perfectly sized for you. Vulpini Design does not take responsibility if you pick the wrong size for you.
Taking Care of Your Toy
Now that you know why it's important to choose a safe toy material like silicone, you should know how to take care of it to keep it in tip-top shape.
Inspect your toy before each use. If there are any tears or rips, do not continue to use the toy. Keep Sharp objects far away from your toy to avoid accidental cuts or tears.

DO NOT use silicone-based lubricants, as they can deteriorate your toy's surface. Use water-based lubricants only

Cleaning your toy:

  • We recommend washing your toy after each use. You may also wash before to remove lint or debris.
  • While sex toy cleaners may work occasionally, we recommend using scent-free soap and water, or a soapy wash cloth.
  • For a more thorough cleaning, you may boil your toy for 5-10 minutes in water, or run it through your dishwasher. This is necessary if you share your toy with partners. Isopropyl alcohol can also be used for disinfection.
  • DO NOT use any harsh chemicals with your toy. This may ruin the color or integrity of your toy, and may not be body safe.
Storing your toy:
  • Ensure your toy is fully dried before storing.
  • Place your toy in a bag or container to prevent the gathering of lint or debris on the surface.
